Sedona, Arizona – ILX Resorts is pleased to announce the winners of the 17th annual Red Rock Fantasy holiday display contest.

The winners were among 30 families from the southwest that created original light displays to decorate Los Abrigados Resort & Spa, the site of Red Rock Fantasy. Provided with 15,000 lights and five pieces of plywood, the families worked for months to compete for the grand prize of a lifetime vacation ownership from ILX Resorts, Inc.

“This year in particular we were amazed by the creativity and hard work that our participant families put into this event since we changed the route slightly and added more lights,” says Lori Lo Duca, Red Rock Fantasy Coordinator and Vice President, ILX Resorts. “Red Rock Fantasy has become an important tradition at Los Abrigados and a strong charity event. We couldn’t do it without our contestants.”

Proceeds from this year’s Red Rock Fantasy will be given to the Institute of EcoTourism, an organization committed to solving environmental problems by promoting environmentally conscious tourism, sustainable community development and experiential, place-based environmental education.

The complete list of winners has been provided below. Categories include the Green Award voted on by the Institute of EcoTourism for the site that used the most recyclable materials; Contestants Choice, voted on by the families’ fellow contestants; Kids Ballot Choice, voted on by the thousands of children who visited Red Rock Fantasy this year; and the People’s Choice, voted on by the adults who toured the displays.
